Summary Chapters 11-15

We are now toward the middle of the book and I am starting to get bored. I am hoping there will be a surprise ending to wake me up! Right now Sal and her Gram and Gramps are traveling through Minnesota toward South Dakota. Acoording to Sal Gram and Gramps seem to cut in to her story more often now. In her story Sal's ridicoulous teacher is picking up the classes journals of their Summer vacation. When he gets to her he tells her he'll find something else for her. At the begining of chapter 15 they have driven into South Dakota and stopped by a lake to rest in the blazing weather. Gram and Gramps take off their clothes and step into the river just as a teenage boy walks into the light. " This is private property!" He commanded. " How?" Gramps asked innocently. "This is a private lake!" he yelled. Then a poisonious water moccasin bites gram. The boy quickly runs up to the stream and starts sucking and spiting on Gram's leg. They go to the nearest hospital to rest and get Gram medicine. It's been a long day.
